Reefs grow on trees: Ken Nedimeyer’s efforts to save the world’s coral reefs.

Growing up near the Florida Keys, Ken Nedimeyer of the Coral Restoration Foundation (CRF) spent many hours diving among the fauna of coral reefs. Upon realizing that these precious ecosystems are threatened with extinction, Ken has developed protocols to increase coral stocks around the world. Using his methods, a coral population can be grown in an environmentally friendly, easy to establish setting.

Visit CRF’s website for more information on Ken’s efforts: http://www.coralrestoration.org/CRF/

  1. Treat:

Well Done for completing the csoure and your fantastic reef-protecting contributions. Reef Check Australia relies heavily on volunteers to donate time and effort to continue essential surveys and research into reefs. Sarah
